- Pay Range: $18.00
Key Responsibilities
- Sand wood parts and products in preparation for finishing.
- Use hand sanding tools and power sanders properly and safely.
- Break edges, smooth surfaces, and remove imperfections.
- Follow proper sanding sequences and grit progressions.
- Inspect work carefully to ensure pieces meet finish-ready standards.
- Maintain clean and organized sanding tools and work areas.
- Support general shop operations as needed.
- Follow all shop safety guidelines and procedures.
Skills & Experience
- Experience sanding wood products in a production or shop environment.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in quality.
- Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on work
- Familiarity with different wood types
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a production woodworking shop
- Knowledge of sanding sequences and grit progression techniques
Work Environment
- Positions available on 1st shift Mon – Fri 7am – 3:30pm
