Key Responsibilities
· Assemble salad kits and fresh food items by adding ingredients, dressings, toppings, and other components to packaging trays or bags.
· Inspect ingredients and finished kits for freshness, quality, and correct portioning.
· Package, seal, and label finished products accurately.
· Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety regulations.
· Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies at all times.
Skills & Experience
- Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with coworkers and supervisors.
- Dependability and punctuality for maintaining production schedules.
- Basic understanding of food handling and hygiene standards.
- Prior experience in food production, assembly, or warehouse environments preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
· Ability to stand for long periods in a refrigerated environment (typically 34–40°F).
· Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or variable shifts as needed.
Work Environment
- Modern distribution facility focused on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.
- Expect to stand, walk, bend, and lift regularly during your shift.
- Some areas may experience moderate temperature variations depending on the season.
- Weekend shift opportunities available.
