Job Details
- Location: Naperville, IL
- Type: Contract-to-hire
- Pay Range: $18.00 – $19.00/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Operate K-Cup production equipment, including filling, sealing, and packaging machines.
- Set up production equipment, perform product changeovers, and adjust machine settings as needed.
- Monitor production to ensure proper fill weights, seal integrity, and overall product quality.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products, including appearance, sealing, and label accuracy.
- Maintain accurate production records and perform basic data entry using Excel or production systems.
- Ensure proper usage of production materials, including cups, lids, filters, and coffee.
- Support minor equipment maintenance and promptly report mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
- Follow all company safety policies, GMP requirements, and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations related to production and quality checks.
- Support team objectives and complete related tasks as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to operate production or packaging equipment efficiently.
- Basic computer and data entry skills, including Microsoft Excel and production systems.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a positive work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
- Previous experience operating production, manufacturing, or packaging equipment preferred.
- Experience working in a food manufacturing or GMP environment is a plus.
- Basic computer knowledge, including Excel, Word, or production software.
- Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting experience.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality standards.
