Job Details
- Location: Lockport Area
- Type: Contract-to-hire
- Pay Range: $19.75 – $20.75/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a clamp forklift to load, unload, put away, and move materials or products as directed.
- Transport merchandise between designated warehouse areas while maintaining accuracy in inventory movement.
- Utilize RF scanners to track product locations, inventory counts, and order accuracy.
- Follow established work instructions and safety procedures to complete all daily assignments efficiently.
- Support all operational processes and ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and federal/state/local regulations.
- Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and stock auditing to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company standards.
- Participate in ongoing safety and equipment training programs.
Skills & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years of forklift experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
- Proficient in operating clamp-type forklifts (experience with appliances or electronics required).
- Familiarity with RF scanning systems and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Basic math, reading, and documentation skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and twist for extended periods.
- Work performed in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting and meet operational deadlines.
Work Environment
- Positions available on 1st & 2nd shifts.
