Job Details
- Location: Batavia, IL
- Type: Contract-to-hire
- Pay Range: $15.00 – $15.50/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Pack finished plastic components into boxes according to packaging specifications and customer requirements.
- Apply part labels accurately to completed boxes and finished product containers.
- Inspect products during packing to ensure quality standards are met.
- Record hourly scrap data and production information as required.
- Maintain organized workstations and production areas.
- Follow established production procedures and work instructions.
- Support efficient manufacturing operations by maintaining productivity and accuracy standards.
- Assist machine operators and production personnel as needed.
- Report quality concerns, safety hazards, or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
- Comply with all workplace safety requirements and manufacturing standards.
- Assist with general production duties as assigned by supervisors.
Skills & Experience
- Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, packaging, or warehouse experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous general labor or warehouse experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or weekends as needed.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Work Environment
- Positions available on 1st and 3rd shifts.
