Job Details
- Location: Naperville, IL
- Type: Contract-to-hire
- Pay Range: $18.50 – $19.00/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Operate coffee grinding equipment in accordance with production schedules and quality standards.
- Load, unload, and transport green and roasted coffee using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Monitor grinding processes and report any production deviations or equipment issues.
- Perform basic data entry and production tracking using Microsoft Excel, Word, or production systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials and finished goods.
- Follow all company safety policies, GMP requirements, and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
- Support team objectives and complete related tasks as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience
- Forklift operating experience required.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
- Ability to lift and move materials safely throughout the shift.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, food production, or coffee processing environment preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to work in a hot manufacturing environment.
- Schedule flexibility and willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
