Job Details
  • Location: Bolingbrook & Romeoville Areas
  • Type: Contract-to-hire
  • Pay Range: $19.50 – $20.80/hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, auditing, and reconciliation.
  • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, including shortages and overages, using appropriate adjustment codes.
  • Participate in and coordinate periodic and annual inventory counts, ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliation of results.
  • Organize, document, and maintain inventory control processes and procedures.
  • Prepare and distribute inventory reports as required by management.
  • Support training and development of inventory control procedures to ensure process consistency.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, sherry picker, reach trucks, or pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all safety, security, and company policies, using Stop Work Authority when necessary.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and promote a safe work environment.
  • Regular and punctual attendance is essential; overtime may be required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Skills & Experience
  • 2–3 years of inventory control experience, preferably in a warehouse or fulfillment setting.
  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent related experience).
  • Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners required.
  • Proficiency in basic computer programs and data entry systems.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment (forklift cherry picker.) required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience performing inventory audits and cycle counts.
  • Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management software.

Work Environment
  • Positions available on 1st, 2nd, 3rd  and Weekend shifts.
