Job Details
Location: Plainfield, IN
Type: Contract-to-hire
Pay Rate: $17.50 /hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 05:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure picking, receiving, and storing functions are performed accurately and efficiently.
- Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and damage-free condition.
- Perform labeling, sorting, and repacking of materials as needed.
- Execute inventory procedures accurately with a high level of integrity.
- Ship and receive cargo in compliance with applicable regulatory and voluntary association requirements (TSA and/or TAPA).
- Select products and prepare packages for shipment according to specifications.
- Assist with palletizing and cargo preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of facility and work areas.
- Provide general business and warehouse support as assigned by management.
Skills & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalency certificate required.
- Basic knowledge of clerical methods and office procedures related to transaction processing and recordkeeping.
- General computer proficiency (data entry, scanning systems, inventory systems).
- Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly.
Work Environment
- Warehouse and logistics facility setting.
- Moderate noise levels.
- Frequent movement throughout warehouse and staging areas.
- Operation of powered industrial trucks and material handling equipment.
