Job Details
- Location: Bolingbrook & Romeoville Areas
- Type: Contract-to-hire
- Pay Range: $19.50 – $20.80/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders including wave planning, printing, and organizing paperwork and labels.
- Run stock and availability reports to ensure product readiness for fulfillment.
- Generate and verify all documentation related to customer orders, checking for special requests or requirements.
- Research and resolve aging orders or order discrepancies, providing timely updates to the Operations Team.
- Maintain and update productivity trackers and reports as needed.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure service standards and shipping deadlines are met.
- Verify accuracy of invoices and assist with order billing processes.
- Maintain records of damages, backorders, and returned merchandise.
- Handle returned goods promptly, ensuring accurate credits and system updates.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate order documentation.
- Greet customers and visitors courteously and assist with inquiries.
- Coordinate last-minute or special shipping requests as needed.
- Conduct periodic inventory audits and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Track and trace orders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support operational efficiency.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in fulfillment, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred.
- Strong planning, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in wave planning, order processing, or customer service within a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with order tracking systems and productivity metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and meet production goals.

- High School Diploma or GED required; post-secondary coursework or equivalent experience preferred.
Work Environment
- Positions available on 1st, 2nd, 3rd  and Weekend shifts.
