Job Details
- Location: Romeoville  Areas
- Type: Contract-to-hire
- Pay Range: $17.00 – $19.00/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and pack customer orders according to specifications and brand requirements.
- Assemble boxes, package merchandise, apply labels, and complete all order documentation.
- Perform gift packaging and presentation tasks as needed for various product lines.
- Inspect and verify order accuracy, ensuring all items meet quality and customer standards.
- Conduct final checks for defective or damaged items before shipment.
- Maintain clean and organized workstations, disposing of packaging materials and waste properly.
- Rotate through departments as needed to support workflow and business demand.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures, packaging standards, and quality control guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing training related to technology, systems, and packaging improvements.
- Complete tasks as assigned by supervisors to meet productivity and quality goals.
Skills & Experience
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Basic English proficiency and communication skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude and reliability.
- Basic computer and scanning system familiarity preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using RF Scanner
- 1+ year of experience as a Picker, Packer, or Stocker preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily goals.
- Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Willingness to cross-train and assist in other warehouse areas as needed.
Work Environment
- Positions available on 1st, 2nd and Weekend shifts.
